Working Principle

On start-up, residual liquid retained in the pump body mixes with incoming air to form a gas-liquid mixture. As the impeller rotates, this mixture is carried to a separation chamber where air is released and liquid returns to the impeller. The cycle repeats until all air in the suction line is expelled and the pump is fully primed, after which it conveys liquid continuously.
